[Body] 1106 Difficulties – Chapter 1106: Difficulties
Suddenly, Yang Yanping smiled at Lu Yun and said, "Hehe, did you know why I immediately recognized that technique you just used—Yin-Yang Expansion and Contraction?"
Lu Yun shook his head. If he had known, he wouldn’t have dared to reveal it in front of Yang Yanping. Still, one thing he was certain of was that the mysterious race she spoke of must be deeply connected to her—otherwise, it would be strange that every time she mentioned dragons, she seemed to transform completely, radiating an intense aura of readiness for combat.
"Because, after the dishonorable dragon took control of that mysterious race, it often used such cruel methods to torment and amuse the members of that race," Yang Yanping said slowly, and the sharp intensity she had previously carried faded, as though simply narrating someone else’s story.
Lu Yun was stunned. Though he didn't know exactly what kind of mysterious race that was, the mere thought of the creature being inserted into a woman's lower body by a dragon instantly sent a shiver down his spine. For some reason, he found himself thinking of elephants—people often said elephants were monsters born from the union of dragons and pigs. It was hard to imagine, however, what kind of monster might result from the union between a dragon and members of that enigmatic race, as described by Yang Yanping. This thought stayed only in Lu Yun's mind, and he absolutely wouldn't dare bring it up in front of Yang Yanping. Hearing such an extraordinary tale from her, Lu Yun felt as though he had stepped into a dream—so utterly unprecedented. Could it be true that dragons actually existed in this world? And even more astonishing, perhaps, a rather shy dragon might be hiding within his very own body.
At this moment, Lu Yun longed to continue chatting with the mysterious entity within himself, but he couldn't help thinking about Yang Yanping—the woman who hated dragons deeply—and how, if she noticed any oddity, his life would be in serious danger. After a while, he asked cautiously, "Yanping姐, do you think dragons might have gone extinct?"
Yang Yanping was taken aback and chuckled, "I'm not sure. Perhaps they have. According to older people, after the dragons took control of that mysterious race, they would constantly torment the women of that race, making them perform sexual acts as entertainment, until one day, the people of that race could no longer bear the humiliation and rose up in rebellion. That great battle lasted for many years—eventually, the dragons were driven away, while the mysterious race was nearly wiped out."
Seeming touched by the memory, Yang Yanping smiled gently at Lu Yun, "Well, I'm telling you all this just to share a bit of my story. Just remember to spend as little time as possible with that woman—she might actually be harmful to you."
Lu Yun nodded seriously, yet in his heart he thought: It had absolutely nothing to do with Xiao Huan. The person was actually inside his own body! But he couldn't tell Yang Yanping that. Lu Yun could clearly see her deep resentment toward the dragon. After all, his entire clan had been systematically wiped out by the dragon over a long period of time, nearly driven to extinction—how could she not feel bitter? Suddenly, he realized another serious issue: If this mysterious race that had driven the dragon away was so powerful, then what kind of force must they be? In an instant, Lu Yun felt a wave of helplessness, mentally muttering, "Please, Yang Yanping, don't be one of the last descendants of that very race! Otherwise, if she finds out he'd deceived her, she'd surely be in serious trouble!" He had originally hoped to enjoy a pleasant, relaxed time with Yang Yanping, but things had turned out so differently. Finally, the man who had been so proud and upright, now lowered his head in quiet resignation.
Yang Yanping chuckled, "What's wrong? Has it affected your mood? Look at this guy—he's all limp now, like a soft-shelled crab."
As for idle chatter, Lu Yun was now deeply concerned. If the entity within him truly were a dragon, how could he possibly focus on doing anything special with her?
He sighed, shaking his head with a look of utter disbelief, and smiled, "I'm not exactly afraid, but hearing that dragons actually exist—it's just taking some getting used to."
Yang Yanping gently tapped Lu Yun's forehead with her slender, green-fingered hand, saying, "You fool! You've seen dragons, yet you haven't? They're a race that considers itself noble, yet in truth is quite humble—small, ordinary humans simply can't keep up with their standards."
Lu Yun instinctively wanted to argue—how could that be? If she's not human, then why can she see them?
Just as he was about to speak, he realized that the mysterious race Yang Yanping referred to might not necessarily be something other than humans. He had once read in a book that during the primordial age of Hongmeng, the world was filled with demons, spirits, and monsters. Since this was an ancient, enigmatic race that had ultimately defeated the dragons, it must be a race entirely unknown to him. At the very least, Yang Yanping looked no different from an ordinary woman—two smooth, snow-white peaks, a vast canyon covered in the lush tropical rainforest of the Amazon, and all the classic features of a woman.
"Really? Are you having trouble looking me in the eye?" Yang Yanping gently stroked Landun's erect member, smiling.
Landun frowned, saying, "Yanping姐, how about you help me with this?"
"Though he said so, where was Lu Yun's mind right now, really enjoying himself with Yang Yanping? He didn't even have the energy to keep up the lively conversation—just one slip, and she'd notice the dragon hidden within him. Though Lu Yun wasn't yet certain whether the creature inside him was indeed a dragon, it was always safer to be cautious. Right now, what he most wanted to do was to leave Yang Yanping's office as soon as possible, find a quiet place, absorb the astonishing things she had just told him, and then have a thorough conversation with his younger brother to find out exactly what kind of monster this was and why it had suddenly appeared inside his body.
This time, he was genuinely stunned—not because Lu Yun was timid, but because the situation was so extraordinary. First, he heard from Yang Yanping that dragons truly existed in the world. Then, he began to suspect that the entity within him might very well be the very dragon Yang Yanping had spoken of. Honestly, Lu Yun felt his head was spinning. If it really was a dragon, what was he supposed to do? The matter was far more complex than he had imagined. Lu Yun now also had a growing concern: the men on this land—how come their vitality and vigor seemed so inconsistent? Why, at such a young age, was Lu Yun so remarkably strong and capable, able to handle even thirty-something women who were as robust as wolves and tigers? And more astonishingly, why did these women become utterly enchanted by him, completely captivated by his presence? Lu Yun wasn’t stupid. From Yang Yanping’s current words, he could already sense that the dragon held a dominant position—even though he still wasn’t certain whether the entity within him was anything but a rather unimpressive, ordinary one.
… ps: Here are two highly energetic fantasy novels I’d recommend. The first is Xiao Qiao’s "The Supreme Immortal," and the second is Nie Xiaodao’s "The Nine Yin Evil Sovereign." Both are currently being followed closely by Feng Yun readers—energetic, heartwarming, and absolutely worth checking out.
