"Divine Thunder to ward off evil! My cultivation is not rooted in demonic arts or strange techniques—how could it possibly pose a significant threat to me?" Seeing this situation, the Azure Dragon Monks murmured softly, raised his hand, and with a clear chime, his jade scroll transformed into a shimmering, five-colored light screen that instantly materialized before him. With a further gesture, he flipped his hands, and two luminous orbs—one golden, one silver—glowed briefly, revealing two towering brush-staffs of about six feet in length. Though he spoke with ease, he was far from relaxed, immediately drawing upon his essential divine artifacts. Upon hearing this, Han Li showed no change in expression, but merely shook his sleeves, and instantly seventy-two small blue sword-fish swam forth. Under the guidance of a subtle hand seal, they merged into a single entity, forming a massive blue sword stretching over ten dozen feet in length, its gentle blue glow radiant and brilliant. Then, he raised his hand again and gently pointed at the two golden electric serpents hovering in the sky. With a thunderous roar, the serpents shook their heads and swayed their tails, leaping directly onto the blue sword, vanishing instantly
The azure great sword instantly swelled tenfold, growing to over a hundred paces in length, its surface flashing with golden light and surging with countless electric arcs! Yet Han Li did not stop there. He glanced at the colossal sword in the air, then exhaled, spitting out a sphere of silver flame. As soon as the sphere left his mouth, a clear, melodic chime resonated from within, followed by a shimmer—transforming it into a silver phoenix. With a spread of its wings, the phoenix's body surged, expanding by several paces, and then launched itself with a swift, arrow-like motion into the great sword. Instantly, a layer of silver flame erupted on the sword's surface, engulfing it completely in a roaring wave of fire. Han Li raised an eyebrow, then suddenly uttered the character "Chop" with a clear voice. As soon as the word fell, the hundred-foot-long sword roared and plunged straight down toward the Qinglong Master. Though the descent wasn't particularly swift, the path it took vibrated the void with a continuous hum. Before it even fully landed, a wave of intense heat surged downward, enveloping the stone platform below.
The space below instantly surged with a vibrant red glow, as if about to be fully cooked. Upon seeing this, Master Qinglong's face paled. With a sudden shake of both hands, the tips of his golden and silver brushes burst forth with brilliant light. Countless ancient characters poured forth in dense, vigorous streams, each one shimmering with an ethereal radiance, seemingly mysterious and intricate. When they fused together, they merged into a sweeping cascade of golden and silver light, rushing upward in a powerful surge.
Han Li's first move, when matched against Qinglong, proved to be so powerful that it far exceeded their expectations.
The elder named Gu's face changed instantly, and with both hands, he rapidly struck a series of hand seals against the surrounding stone pillars.
These seals shimmered into various hues of light, flashing and then vanishing into the pillars.
Immediately, the beams of light emerging from the tops of the pillars swelled in diameter, becoming nearly twice as thick.
A silver light curtain flashed and then stabilized, returning to its original firmness.
As if in response, the previously unstable stone platform instantly regained its calm.
After a brief moment, the vast luminous halo surrounding the platform finally dispersed and vanished.
Han Li and Qinglong appeared once more, one tall and one shorter, clearly visible.
Han Li stood with his hands behind his back, expression unchanged, still suspended in his original position, as if he had not moved at all.
Meanwhile, Qinglong had descended from the sky to land on the platform at some point, his five-colored light aura now gone, leaving only a jade book floating there, its surface cracked and weathered.
The twin brushes of gold and silver also seemed dimmed, as though they had lost much of their spiritual vitality. As for Master Qinglong himself, though his hair and beard appeared untouched, his complexion was subtly pale. Han Li had clearly gained the upper hand with just that single strike. Master Jin Yue and the elderly scholar with the Gu surname exchanged glances, each seeing a look of astonishment in the other's eyes. Though they had long known that Han Li's strength should surpass that of Master Qinglong, it was still unexpected that he had managed to hurl the latter from the sky with just one blow. Whether it was because Master Qinglong himself was relatively weak, or whether Han Li truly possessed an incalculable level of power remained uncertain. Though Han Li himself appeared somewhat disheveled, he showed no actual injury. Immediately, he sneered and with a single maneuver, ripples of spatial disturbance surged outward. Countless small jade swords of a bright green hue shot back through the void, flashing as they vanished into his body.
Though he had gained the upper hand with his first strike, the azure great sword also trembled and shattered. Having decided not to summon his flying sword for the second attack, he now naturally drew it back in whole. Yet, as Han Li pressed a series of hand seals, golden light flowed over his body, causing his form to swell dramatically. A layer of golden fur instantly covered his entire frame. He had summoned the Jingze Technique, transforming himself into a colossal golden-furred giant ape, standing several zhang tall. The ape's eyes flashed with deep blue light, its face grim and fierce. After raising its head and unleashing a long, soaring roar that reached the heavens, it suddenly slammed its fists against its chest. As its body expanded further, it grew even larger, soon reaching a height of several dozen zhang. It glanced at the Qinglong Master with a piercing, icy gaze. Upon seeing Han Li's transformation, the Qinglong Master's expression darkened, and he murmured in annoyance, "Hmph! Do you think only you possess the ability to transform? Then let me show you the true power of my Qinglong Form!"
As soon as he finished speaking, the Qinglong Immortal raised one hand and lightly tapped his celestial crown. Instantly, a column of vibrant green light erupted from his head, swirling and transforming into a vivid, serpentine silhouette of a five-clawed green dragon. At that moment, he shook his sleeve, and seven slender black swords shot forth. With a series of "pffft" sounds, the swords were swiftly plunged into various parts of his body. Then, with a single breath, he expelled seven streams of pure blood, which flowed into the sacred objects. In the next instant, the seven swords vanished silently, while countless blood threads burst from his body, coiling around the floating dragon silhouette and suddenly drawing it downward with a firm pull. A sharp "crack" sounded, and the Qinglong Immortal and the green dragon phantom seamlessly merged into one. Then, as he roared softly, green scales began to emerge across his limbs and face. A flash of white light at the crown revealed a pair of lush, dewy antlers sprouting from his head, and behind him, an unusually thick, massive green tail extended prominently.
Master Qinglong suddenly half-transformed in an instant, becoming a creature half-dragon, half-human!
"I've long heard that Master Qinglong is of half-divine origin; such a transformation as we now witness is no surprise at all. Master Han's transformation into a giant ape, however, seems equally remarkable—I wonder what kind of technique he has employed." Master Jin Yue spoke softly, his expression growing serious.
"It doesn't quite resemble a typical transformation spell. Might it be that Master Han himself possesses some true spiritual blood?" Elder Gu stroked his chin, pondering.
"That seems unlikely! Master Han is a cultivator who ascended from the lower realm, and the true spiritual blood of that realm has long since vanished—how could such blood still exist?" The silver-haired nun shook her head.
"Perhaps Master Han acquired this spiritual blood only after arriving in the spiritual realm. Nevertheless, whatever the case, his next attack will surely surpass the one we've just witnessed. Master Gu, is the seal still intact?"
Master Jin Yue had already guessed several key truths and asked a concerned question. "Please rest assured," the elder with the Gu surname replied with great confidence, "as I personally oversee this seal, there will be no issues at all." Yet Master Jin Yue still harbored little confidence, only offering a wry smile before falling silent. At that moment, the great ape transformed from Han Li stepped forward. He suddenly raised both his thick, furry hands toward the void. Two orbs of light—one bright green and one deep black—emerged from his palms, solidified, and instantly took the form of two small mountains each over ten zhang high, their bodies shimmering with radiant hues, clearly no ordinary treasures. With a thunderous roar like a clear sky burst, the great ape then contracted his arm muscles, and with a powerful thrust, hurled the two mountains straight downward. A tremendous roar erupted.
Two mountain peaks instantly transformed into vivid, shimmering shades of jade and dark blue. As they passed through the space, the very fabric of reality warped and rippled, and a piercing sound erupted. In a single flash, they appeared mere steps away from the Azure Dragon Master. The Master felt two immense, blade-like pressures rushing toward him. The air around him tightened, and suddenly, his body was held rigid by an invisible, colossal force—his limbs completely immobile. Startled, he roared without hesitation. His semi-divine form radiated a brilliant surge of jade light, his scales instantly standing upright, and a tremendous force surged from his body, enabling him to break free from the constraint within the next instant. His two hands, now transformed into claw-like shapes, then swiftly drove into the advancing peaks with powerful force. He dared to act thus for a clear reason.
The Qinglong's physical strength was already among the top three among all true dragons, and thus his transformed true dragon form could not compare directly with a genuine Qinglong. However, due to his Qinglong true blood, his physical strength was far beyond what ordinary beings could even imagine. His body was as solid and resilient as a first-tier divine artifact, and upon awakening his true dragon blood, he could also channel portions of Qinglong power—enough to cleave mountains and shatter treasures. Yet, at the very instant when his two claws first made contact with the two mountain peaks, the Qinglong master suddenly regretted his decision! His claws, instead of effortlessly crushing the peaks as he had anticipated, were struck by the immense force carried by the mountains, and under the sudden shock, snapped with a crisp, brittle sound. His two arms, startled, swiftly retracted, then he opened his mouth wide, expelling a surge of vibrant green light that precisely struck one of the peaks. At the same time, his massive tail, slightly blurred, swept past and struck the other peak.
With two thunderous crashes and a dull gasp, the Qinglong Immortal stumbled, his body collapsing like a bundle of麻bags, retreating in a series of fifteen steps before finally steadying himself. Yet now, his face was filled with shock. As he reached to speak, a fountain of black blood erupted from his mouth.
