Han Li paused slightly, then suddenly swept his long robe upward, causing a flash of light to appear above his head—three small hills, each about a zhang high, materialized out of thin air. With a subtle urging of his spell, the three hills roared and descended toward the crystal platform.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!" Three thunderous impacts echoed.
The hills struck the ground with force, then flashed with brilliant light and rapidly expanded, swelling within moments to hundreds of zhang in height—now towering like true mountain peaks, firmly enclosing the platform within their embrace.
After completing this, Han Li made no further movements, simply settling into a meditative posture, eyes closed, breathing steadily.
He remained in this seated meditation from noon until evening, and then continued through the night until dawn. From the two mountain peaks far away, the Crab Immortal and Yin Yue watched him silently, yet their expressions varied.
The Crab Immortal remained calm and composed, while a subtle concern flickered across Yin Yue's brow.
Two hours later, when the first rays of sunlight had just begun to emerge from the nearby mountain peaks, Han Li opened his eyes and slowly chanted a spell with one hand. Immediately, a powerful aura surged from his body, and as his back shimmered with golden light, a Bodhisattva image several zhang tall materialized. With a low cry, Han Li raised his voice, and the golden glow on the Bodhisattva's form flashed once, expanding it into a colossal figure over a hundred zhang in height. At the same time, all six of the Bodhisattva's eyes opened, and each of the six hands formed a distinct mudra.
A powerful surge of primordial qi rippled through the surrounding space, countless points of vibrant hues materializing densely in the void, stretching endlessly to the horizon—seeming to fill the entire cosmos—and the spectacle was nothing short of magnificent. Yet, the one orchestrating this sequence, Han Li, remained with his eyes tightly shut, his face expressionless, as if once again entering a deep state of meditation.
Han Li remained motionless on the crystalline platform, yet his aura steadily intensified at a constant pace, as if it would continue without end. After fifteen days, his aura had grown so powerful that even established Transcendent cultivators were struck with awe—his celestial form had expanded to three hundred zhang in height, and his body, shimmering with presence, now appeared solid and dense as if tangible. In the sky above, dense, black cloud masses resembling the bottoms of large pots completely enveloped the heavens, blocking out even the faintest rays of sunlight or moonlight. The entire basin had grown dim and oppressive, exuding an atmosphere of profound gloom. Only the luminous points formed by the natural essence of heaven and earth still floated quietly throughout the void, though they had grown from their original grain-sized form into egg-sized orbs at an unknown time. From afar, they appeared like countless giant fireflies suspended in the sky, softly radiating a gentle luminous glow.
Han Li finally opened his eyes, with blue luminescence constantly flickering within his pupils, as if two blue electric sparks were dancing within his orbits. Without a word, he suddenly struck his forehead with a hand, and as a golden light shimmered, a golden infant spirit several feet tall instantly materialized. Though small in stature, the infant's face was taut. As soon as it appeared, it immediately raised its small hand and pointed upward. A thunderclap! A flash of silver light erupted within the clouds above, and a massive electric arc, several zhang in width, surged down from the sky. The golden infant narrowed its eyes, neither dodging nor retreating, but simply opened its mouth slightly, and a wave of azure mist surged forth. The tremendous electric arc struck the ground with a loud "crack," yet it was instantly absorbed completely by the infant's mouth, as if drawn in by a great whale drinking water. Then, the golden infant rapidly rubbed its hands together, and a rumbling thunder echoed from its body. Countless electric arcs shot out, coalescing into large, silver lightning characters, each emitting a deep, resonant sound, and then launched outward in all directions.
After a series of thunderous roars, Leiwen vanished entirely into the surrounding void, as if stepping into the emptiness.
At that instant, an invisible force erupted throughout the space, causing the previously still five-colored light orbs near by to tremble and stir.
Dense and numerous, the orbs flashed rapidly and began to swirl and drift in the air.
Moreover, after the golden immaterial body settled into a meditative posture in the sky, it extended a single hand and performed a seal.
Suddenly, the powerful aura emanating from the physical form below surged upward, and a terrifying spiritual pressure—seeming capable of crushing all things—descended instantly over the platform, then began to rotate smoothly.
At the center of the great platform, a massive, invisible vortex suddenly formed in the sky, violently drawing in the floating light orbs and hurling them down in streams of shimmering spiritual light.
Han Li’s immaterial and physical bodies each flashed with a brief glow, revealing a series of bright silver spiritual patterns.
As soon as the five-colored light streams touched their skin, the silver patterns instantly radiated brilliant light and seamlessly merged into the surface without a sound.
The luminous spheres continuously drawn into the immense vortex above the basin were then violently expelled from the funnel-like vortex at the other end, cascading down from the heavens in brilliant, shimmering hues and源源不断地 infusing into Han Li’s immaterial and physical bodies. As time passed, the surface of the immortal essence gradually brightened, while the flesh beneath grew increasingly translucent and smooth. Within the span of just one meal, one was completely enveloped in a golden, hazy glow, while the other shone with a crystalline radiance, resembling pure jade. However, at this moment, the luminous spheres formed from the ambient qi above the basin were finally swept entirely away, leaving the vast expanse of space suddenly empty and open. Upon observing the sudden interruption of the five-colored spiritual light within the vortex, Han Li’s immaterial form grew visibly concerned, though he remained motionless. Yet, the colossal golden form behind him—resembling a giant—immediately emitted a low hum from its head. Then, as the six hands that had been forming intricate hand seals gradually dispersed, golden light spun within each palm, forming golden spheres the size of a face, which simultaneously rose and were projected upward.
Six luminous orbs shot forth instantly, converging in the sky to form a magnificent, golden sphere. With a simple gesture of her Yuan-Emperor-level hands, the giant sphere flashed twice before bursting with a thunderous roar. A cascade of golden runes surged out, then swiftly coiled into another large, golden vortex, instantly merging and overlapping with the original one. In her tripartite, six-armed form, the figure murmured continuously. With a gentle flick of her six hands, six thick, golden columns—like water jars—erupted with powerful momentum, precisely striking the base of the aerial vortex and vanishing silently into it. A resonant hum surged within the golden vortex, which instantly swelled in size. Within mere breaths, the vortex expanded into a colossal, towering structure, nearly concealing one-third of the basin beneath it.
Han Li's Yuan婴 was immediately delighted upon seeing this. With a gentle hand gesture, he pointed his palm at the golden vortex. Instantly, the humming sound within the vortex deepened, replaced by a serene, celestial Buddhist chant. At the same time, powerful suction forces—so immense they seemed capable of tearing through the heavens—emerged, surging outward in waves that rapidly expanded in all directions.
It was an astonishing celestial phenomenon formed by an endless multitude of colorful luminous spheres densely gathering together. A faint smile of joy appeared on the Yuan婴's face. After taking a deep breath, the colossal figure behind him, with six arms, swayed several times, and instantly, another dozen golden light pillars shot forth, plunging into the golden vortex, causing it to swell slightly before drawing in several powerful waves of suction. Under this immense force, the tidal waves from all directions merely flashed wildly before reaching the basin's airspace and then vanishing into the golden vortex. At once, a thick, almost viscous glow surged down from the crystal platform. The silver spiritual patterns on both the Yuan婴's and the physical body's surfaces rippled and flowed, readily drawing in the spiritual radiance without hesitation. Their bodies seemed as if bottomless chasms, capable of absorbing no matter how much celestial vital energy.
The immense vortex in the sky this time nearly tore the primordial qi of the heavens and earth within several thousand miles, forcibly drawing it from the space between. As a result, the celestial currents at the horizon flowed ceaselessly, creating an impression of endless renewal. Nevertheless, despite the fact that Master Han Li's immortal embryo and physical body were far stronger than those of any other being of the same stage, they soon reached saturation under such intense suction. Should the suction continue, not only would the embryo and body no longer provide temporary enhancement, but there was a near certainty that they would burst apart and perish. Thus, after a deep, resonant sigh from the embryo, the luminous patterns on its surface flickered and vanished. Likewise, the intricate patterns on the physical body rapidly faded and dispersed. At this moment, the originally motionless image of the Buddha-Saint opened its three great mouths, drew in the surging celestial and terrestrial qi with effortless strength, and swallowed it entirely. As its golden glow shimmered briefly, the figure suddenly expanded in size, growing visibly larger in the air.
Thus, although Han Li's yuan-ying and physical body no longer drew upon the celestial and terrestrial vital energies, the Buddhist Saint's form took no mercy, readily accepting their duties and fully absorbing every single strand of the cascading spiritual mist into its own form.
