Ten thousand pilgrims fell to their knees, bowing in reverence. Highlight, Ying'er, and the Goddess of Victory stood together, with Highlight standing at the highest point, receiving the faithful prayers of the people. Highlight gestured for everyone to rise and addressed the ten thousand pilgrims: "The true sovereign of Mount Saint-Michel is the Great Angel Saint-Michel!" As Highlight spoke, the white-clad Great Angel Saint-Michel appeared in the sky, smiling kindly upon the ten thousand pilgrims. The crowd erupted in cheers. Gao Liang was watching the Goddess of Victory, swiftly carving on a block of marble. Soon, his diamond-fingered hand shaped the figure to be identical to the Goddess of Victory—only missing a head. As she departed, she gently kissed Gao Liang on the lips and said, "I'm leaving! Everything else now rests entirely with you!" With that, she soared into the air. Gao Liang nodded and replied, "You can count on me!" Five minutes passed, and then people gasped as they saw the statue of the Goddess of Victory—yet there was no trace of the living goddess present.
