Let the bullets fly!
"Sticks..." Landi watched as the woman pressed down on her body, consciousness slipping into chaos. Her mind felt as though a pot of five tastes had been violently tipped over.
This beautiful woman’s life had been entirely destroyed by Landi's father, Lu Feng. Now, Lu Feng himself was a complete mystery to Landi—there was not even a single favorable memory or sentiment. Only a vague resentment remained.
How could he have ended up in this remote village, where no birds fly and no one comes by, if it weren’t for the fact that Lu Feng had bought him? And why, if his own parents were so callous as to sell him away, did they give birth to him at all—wasn't it simply to earn money from childbirth?
The more Landi thought about it, the more he felt wounded. He hadn’t cried when village children broke his arm—the tears now poured like a flood from an overflowing dam.
You old heaven! Why must I be treated as though I were unworthy? Bought or not—children born without fathers or mothers can still live life with brilliance and meaning!
Wait—and I shall prove that my life will never remain confined to this little village.
If heaven has been unjust toward me, then I shall fight heaven myself, proving that I am no mere puppet manipulated by fate!
Landi didn’t realize how profoundly this indignation would shape his future. His full-bodied rage transformed into a roaring flame of passion. With one sudden surge, he flipped the widowed woman beneath him and launched an unprecedented assault on her with his k47.
Under the yellow glow of the 45-degree bulb, the two figures on the bed seemed to return to their primal roots—engaged in instinctive, natural behaviors found in every animal.
Wildness. Unceasing wildness.
Landi felt like a lost creature, desperately and fiercely claiming his dominion over the woman beneath him, sweat pouring from him like rain.
Under the influence of alcohol, Miu, the widow, mistakenly identified Landi as her late husband. With all her warmth now fully awakened, she passionately responded to every move, offering tenderly expressive gestures—her eyes fluttering like fine silk, her hair flowing wildly disheveled, and emitting sounds that filled the room with lush, heartfelt murmurs.
Half an hour later, Landi’s movements grew increasingly rapid, and Miu’s cries became louder and more urgent.
"Ah!"
Both of them shouted simultaneously as Landi’s k47 launched a cascade of bullets.
Miu was struck repeatedly, her body writhing uncontrollably before finally settling into stillness.
Landi gasped for breath, his face beaming with contentment, and lay down beside Miu.
Miu, after the intense struggle, smiled gently as she drifted off to sleep—still murmuring softly the name "Sticks" throughout her dreams.
Though Landi didn’t particularly enjoy drinking wine, the cascade of passion had awakened most of his drowsiness. He wiped sweat from his forehead and gazed closely at Miu, now asleep beside him.
Though now in middle age, due to never having borne children, she retained an exceptional figure—her curves outlined beautifully as she lay on her side under the dim light, radiating an irresistible charm.
Indeed, people say beauty fades with time—this is no exaggeration.
Landi sighed deeply, smoothed out the tangles in Miu’s hair, and then wrapped his arms gently around her.
Fate has always been destiny—but does that truly mean there's nothing we can do to change it?
Landi stood out clearly from other children of his age—perhaps because of his unique upbringing. Though young, he possessed thoughts far beyond his years.
As he thought deeply, his hands unconsciously traced the woman’s proud, graceful shoulders. Suddenly, a fierce resentment surged within him—an overwhelming tide that swept him entirely away.
"Hmm..." Miu sighed suddenly, her eyelashes fluttering, then closed her eyes once more.
Landi abruptly realized what had happened—he swiftly released his grasp on her high-shouldered form, wondering: What was it? Why had he suddenly developed such an odd sentiment? If his parents had abandoned him, did that mean he truly belonged to no one at all?
Didn’t his uncle, his aunt, his cousin Xiao Ying, and now Miu herself care for him deeply—regardless of the reasons behind their concern?
Gently massaging his slightly aching head, Landi shifted to lie on his side. Soon, he fell into a drowsy sleep.
