"Even if you know, you still cannot achieve the same." Yuan Sha said calmly. "Heh, Yuan Sha, without you pointing it out, how could I possibly know that I myself cannot do it?" The blood-light incarnation, yawning slightly, replied. "Suddenly so curious—then I'll tell you the truth. Do you remember the young human cultivator I left behind to deal with?" Yuan Sha asked, his gaze flashing. "Of course I do. And you stayed there for several months, returning only to never mention this matter again to me. Does that mean your method is connected to this young cultivator's incarnation—have you captured him?" The middle incarnation's expression stirred slightly. "Blood-light, you didn't quite get it all, but you're very close. That incarnation is actually a separated infant of the young human cultivator. Though his cultivation level is only late True Void, he has indeed mastered several vital life-preserving techniques."
Although I pursued it for such a prolonged period, the result was that it ultimately exploded its infant form, escaping as countless dispersed fragments of spirit. I was only able to grasp one of those scattered fragments." Yuan Sha's expression suddenly grew serious. "What? A Lingxu-level fragment infant managed to escape Yuan Sha's friend's grasp!" The blood-bodied avatar, upon hearing this, could hardly contain her astonishment. The other two exchanged glances and also displayed expressions of awe. "Hmph. This young man must have mastered secret techniques such as splitting the infant body and dispersing its spirit, along with several incomprehensible talismans on his person. I was momentarily careless, allowing him to make his escape. With such infant-level spiritual prowess, as long as half of his residual spirit fragments gather at a suitable location and reassemble, it's entirely possible for him to restore himself fully. However, if not for my urgent need to rendezvous with Blood's friend and thus spend more time in pursuit, I would have certainly eliminated all of these fragments. Nevertheless, the primary reason I chose to abandon the pursuit of these residual spirits is because I have already secured one fragment of the split infant's spirit.
Among the magmatic essences I cultivate, there exists a divine ability that allows me to directly sense and track the host body through the power of my spiritual awareness. I have already fully integrated the fragment of the young man's separated infant soul into my own essence, enabling me to remotely perceive his general location. I currently possess no second fragment of his separated soul, so my companion cannot achieve the same feat. However, this sense of awareness only provides a general direction—highly imprecise. Otherwise, we would not have been constantly guided and maneuvered by this young human throughout our journey. Yuan Sha simply poured out all the details at once. "I need one of his separated soul fragments! With that, even if Blood has a similar secret technique, he would still be unable to accomplish it. Had I known this earlier, I should have stayed an additional few days to fully capture and subdue his infant soul." Upon hearing this, the Blood-Form incarnation expressed a subtle sense of regret. "If you had truly done so, perhaps the young human might have seized the opportunity to flee and vanish entirely."
"Even this single infant-like form is so slippery that it's hard to grasp; imagine how difficult its true essence must be to handle." Yuan Sha shook his head in disagreement. "Hmph. Even if this young man is as cunning as ever, after having been pursued by us for so long, his spiritual power and divine awareness should be nearly depleted. Without a solid foundation of strength, he won't be able to pull off any remarkable maneuvers." Xue Guang nodded in agreement, but then added with a cold snort. "The same point—you've mentioned it twice already, just two months ago. Yet here he still remains lively and active. As for us, we're beginning to feel the strain." Yuan Sha drew a faint smile, a touch of self-mockery in his tone. "That's because I hadn't anticipated that the other party would carry so many restorative pills with them. Right now, we can't accurately pinpoint their location, so we're forced to simply endure and wear them down. Once their divine energy is fully exhausted, they'll be nothing but a fish in a net or a bird in a cage."
The Blood Light Incarnation, upon hearing this, revealed a touch of embarrassment. "There's merit to that. Though his current speed of flight is quite good, it's still vastly different from when he first began. It seems his spiritual energy has indeed been nearly depleted." Yuan Sha nodded, his expression tinged with sternness. "Therefore, to ensure safety, I've proposed inviting Yuan Brother to assist in activating the Qiankun Platform. When we jointly summon a precious artifact, the speed won't suffer much, but the consumption of spiritual energy will be greatly reduced." The Blood Light Incarnation spoke with genuine anticipation. "To the Qiankun Platform? That's a matter of no concern. I absolutely won't take unnecessary risks. The Stone Demon Hall itself was formed by the transformation of two senior Stone Demon Elders. The spiritual energy required to activate this Hall by me is considerably less than that of ordinary practitioners." Yuan Sha spoke with cool composure. "If Yuan Brother doesn't trust me on this, then I shall withdraw. I still have several subordinates accompanying me who can temporarily take over and assist in activating the Qiankun Platform for a while."
After exchanging glances, one of the three manifestations of Xue Guang smiled slightly and said, "Then it's settled. Though that young man seems unable to last long, we must still make adequate preparations. Should he indeed outlast us—or, at the very moment when his spiritual power is nearly spent, decide to make one final effort against us—we must not be caught off guard or allow him to achieve a surprise victory." Yuan Sha nodded, his eyes flashing with cold resolve. "Rest assured, Yuan Brother. This time, I have come with additional measures in mind. I will ensure this human youth has absolutely no chance to turn the tide." The middle manifestation of Xue Guang chuckled confidently. "With that, I feel confident as well. As for the coming days, to conserve my spiritual energy, I shall only reach out to you when absolutely necessary." With a gentle gesture, Yuan Sha waved his sleeve, and a bright white glow spread across the crystal wall, vanishing completely.
At that moment, the entire realm within the celestial disk grew unusually quiet.
" What do you think about Yuansha's earlier remarks?" the avatar in the midst of bloodlight asked, his smile vanishing instantly as he paused thoughtfully.
The people he addressed were naturally the other two avatars beside him.
Though originating from the same source, after undergoing a special secret technique of division, their temperaments had diverged significantly—seeming like three entirely distinct individuals.
" How could we possibly doubt it? Yuansha certainly didn't speak the truth. He can indeed utilize his residual soul to sense the location of his primary body's immortal embryo, a method well-documented in most magical traditions. However, this is only feasible when his cultivation and power far surpass that of the other party. Otherwise, as soon as the other party notices something amiss, they can seal the main embryo using a special technique, rendering this method ineffective," one of the avatars remarked, frowning slightly.
"Not only that, he agreed so easily to return the镇魔锁 and 紫言鼎—there must be other plans on his part. Heh, though these two treasures aren't officially classified as the Heavenly Powers of Xuan Tian, they are indeed Xuan Tian treasures. How could she truly let them go so easily? If she had insisted on one of them from the very beginning, that would have signaled genuine sincerity." The other avatar sneered, adding, "This matter we'll handle as we see fit. For now, our top priority is to capture that human youth. Starting today, our three of us will take turns absorbing the true demonic crystals brought here. Even if Yuan Sha refuses to come to the Qiankun Disk, he would never have imagined that the one leading the army would bring so many true demonic crystals with him upon his arrival in this realm. With these crystals replenishing our magical energy in rotation, we can endure for another year or so, no problem."
As time dragged on, with Yuan Sha and us at a significant disadvantage in strength, how could we possibly decide what to do with the treasures on the Han youth's body—naturally, it wouldn't be up to us anymore." The middle blood-light form, expression dark and serious, spoke. The other two forms also brightened slightly at these words. ... At the same time, within the vast stone tower, a dressed-in-imperial-gown woman sat quietly on a stone chair, calmly pondering. After an indeterminate length of time, a soft, pleasant sigh echoed through the stone hall—unfamiliar yet strikingly beautiful, clearly belonging to another woman. "Six-Pole, you've finally awakened!" The originally composed woman was first startled, then beamed with joy. "Indeed, thanks to Yuan Sha's sister lending her physical form, I was able to remain concealed from those others, maintaining my current state of awareness and making it possible for me to arrive in the spiritual realm." The unfamiliar woman smiled gently, clearly delighted as well.
"However, when I broke through the boundary, my sister momentarily slipped into a deep sleep, remaining unconscious for several consecutive years, which greatly worried me." Yuan Sha gently exhaled, responding. "Your current physical form, though strong, cannot simultaneously house two powerful spiritual essences. I have therefore had to temporarily seal off my six spiritual faculties to prevent any harm to your body. By the way, where exactly are we located? Your spiritual energy has been depleted so severely—have you encountered any difficulties?" After explaining briefly, the stranger suddenly shifted the topic and asked. "I'll recount the details of my own situation later. For now, Sister should first return her spiritual essence to her physical form. Though this embodiment is the weakest among your six, it still far surpasses my current one." As she spoke, Yuan Sha flicked her wrist, and a cluster of black light shot out from her sleeve, spiraling before materializing and settling gently upon the stone hall's floor.
There stood a black jade coffin, about a zhang long, its surface engraved with layers of mysterious patterns, radiating丝丝 strands of dark magical energy. Several golden and silver sealing talismans were affixed to the coffin's surface, tightly sealing it.
"Well, since I've awakened, I won't find it easy to remain within your body for long," the stranger said calmly.
At once, a layer of black mist emerged on Yuan Sha's face, with green light constantly swirling in her brows and temples. From within, a beam of luminous energy surged forth, then solidified into a small green figure several inches tall, hovering above the black jade coffin.
The green figure was enveloped in a layer of green light, appearing blurred and indistinct from a distance, its face completely obscured.
At this moment, Yuan Sha began murmuring incantations, lifting her arm and gently pointing at the black jade coffin with solemn intent.
A sharp "pffft" sound echoed, and the golden and silver talismans affixed to the coffin instantly ignited, burning fiercely and transforming into wisps of pale green smoke, vanishing completely.
Then the lid shot skyward, and a thick stream of magical energy surged forth from the jade coffin, almost completely filling the entire hall with each breath.
The green figure witnessed this, slightly shifted its form, and dissolved into a glow of green light, vanishing instantly into the coffin.
