Early in the morning, two Aston Martins—one black, one white—appeared at the art faculty building, along with a limited-edition Alfa Romeo.
Though this was the second time these vehicles had shown up, they still drew quite a few students stopping to watch. Everyone, however, knew one thing: not only had these three cars found their owners, but the owners themselves were equally well matched.
This left many young men dreaming of marrying wealthy women feeling rather disappointed.
Lin Caivai arrived first and had already taken her seat in the classroom.
As both cars opened their doors simultaneously, the two elegant legs stepped out in unison. Chen Yue and Su Wu gracefully descended, and the doors closed automatically.
“Yueyue, from now on, let’s just call us the Black and White Duets—doesn’t that sound impressive?” said Su, the lady of the house with a smile.
Chen’s face tightened. “Black and White Duets? Honestly, that’s not impressive at all. How about Black and White Demons—wouldn’t that be more powerful? I’m asking you, Wu—can’t you think of something sensible?”
"Su, I'm going to be serious now," Su said, tightening her lips. "How can you, who've only just joined the Qin family, dare to scold me? Be careful—I'll go straight to the old badger, Mr. Guan, and have him give you a good dressing-down!"
Chen, with a graceful toss of her hair, replied, "Fine by me. After all, whenever I'm under disciplinary action, you won't be able to stay out of it—after all, we're best friends and close sisters, right? Besides, I've been at the Qin family longer than you—don't you agree that's a fact?"
"Come on, strictly speaking, I was there first—I'm the elder sister, you're the younger one!"
"True, you were born several months before me—but I never said you weren't the sister!"
The two women laughed and chatted, walking together toward the staircase. As they passed, a man with a handsome appearance and a well-tailored suit approached them.
"Good morning, Chen Yue," he said, "Su Wu—when did you return?" He looked genuinely surprised.
Chen Yue looked slightly displeased. Su Wu studied the person before her for a few seconds, then said, "Ma Ke, it's you, isn't it? You're dressing up so formally—aren't you trying to woo some clueless young girl?" Ma Ke flushed and offered a dry smile. "Su Wu, you still have it easy with your jokes. When you decided to leave for Europe, I actually felt really sad for days!" "Really? Then why didn't I receive a single call from you?" Su Wu said with a tone of inquiry. Ma Ke felt even more embarrassed. "With such a distance between us, I thought it would be better to keep my feelings tucked away in my heart. I really wanted to call you, but I was afraid it might disrupt your daily life, so I ended up being too hesitant and never did!" This guy has a bad reputation in the Art School—relying solely on his good looks, he constantly tricks unsuspecting girls, especially the wealthier ones. By nature, he's a man who lives off the kindness of others.
When Su Wu and Chen Yue were still students, Marco had already been eyeing them. As their counselor, he frequently launched romantic advances toward the two women. This development was quietly relayed to Su Kui, who was then in Europe. After thorough investigation, Su Kui felt deeply aggrieved—how could this man, a mere counselor, dare to lay claim to his beloved daughter? He promptly summoned him to confront him. The result? Marco not only suffered a brutal beating, which left him half-dead, but also faced stern warnings. The beating kept him bedridden for an entire ten days. Upon returning to campus, he completely abandoned any further pursuit of Su Wu, since Chen Yue was her close friend and he held her in high regard. A few months ago, when Su Wu resigned to move to Europe, Marco saw his opportunity again. Despite being a man who, once a dog, never changes his habits, he continued to court Chen Yue, as they both served as counselors in the arts department and thus saw each other regularly. Chen Yue had consistently remained patient, striving to avoid making their professional relationship too strained.
Later, Ma Ke was sent to study abroad, and during that period, Qin's younger brother seized the initiative. Ma Ke returned yesterday and had heard some rumors about Chen Yue, but he believed the stories circulating among the students were false. Even though he didn't know much about Chen Yue, he knew his father—Master Chen—very well. Given Master Chen's character, how could he possibly send his daughter to court a wealthy second-generation family member? As for the two luxury cars parked outside, he was certain they were gifts from Su Wu to Chen Yue, since Su Wu certainly had the financial means. He felt he should now pursue Chen Yue himself—she already owned a sports car worth over five million, clearly stepping into the realm of a wealthy woman, and, most importantly, she was so beautifully attractive. So on his very first day at work, he waited at the staircase, anticipating Chen Yue's arrival. Chen Yue, of course, knew exactly what was going on in Ma Ke's heart. She said, "Su Wu, let's hurry up and go upstairs—otherwise the students will get anxious!" "Alright," Su Wu said, stepping up to begin ascending the stairs.
"Both of you, don't rush—absolutely don't panic," Ma Ke interposed. "What's going on? Are you trying to rob us of our lunch? Did you really build this road yourselves?" Su Wu's tone had grown quite unkind.
Ma Ke quickly replied, "Absolutely not! Even if I had ten times the courage, I'd still be too afraid to rob you both. I just think we haven't seen each other in a long time—why not have a nice lunch today at a better restaurant? How about that? I'm truly inviting you both—please give me this favor!"
Chen Yue huffed, "We'll discuss lunch later. Right now, we're in a hurry to get upstairs—clear the way!"
Ma Ke reluctantly stepped aside, thinking as long as she didn't outright refuse, he still had a chance.

At Qin Shi Tower's underground parking garage—the very spot where the ladies had previously chosen their cars—this area had now become Mei Hui's private parking zone. Of course, Qin Feng and Fang Fang were also among the owners here.
Several vehicles were arranged in two lines. Following the principle that girls should drive sports cars, Qin Feng did not pull out the SUVs or extended-wheelbase luxury sedans as he had done last time. Hei Muqing held one arm across her chest and used the other to rest on her chin, slowly walking through the middle of the two rows of cars. "Excellent, excellent—all top-brand models," she remarked as she walked. "Qin Feng, it seems your European trip hasn't been too generous in terms of savings. Just these high-end vehicles alone are worth over two or three hundred million RMB. I'm sure you've also picked up quite a few other valuable items, aren't you?" "Absolutely," he said with a cheerful smile, sitting on the hood of one of the cars. "With such a long journey to Columbia, how could I possibly return empty-handed?" He glanced at his superior. "You're envious, aren't you?" The supervisor turned and gave him a withering look. "Grandma's definitely envious—though what can I do? Not only are there dozens of vehicles here, even if there were just one, I wouldn't be able to bring it back. Qin Feng, congratulations—you've officially
He said with great conviction, "No, I don't think so. Being a person of grace and composure is essential—especially after having witnessed the true affluent individuals in Europe and the Middle East. That experience has deepened my understanding of the term, and I now feel certain that I haven't yet reached that level. By the way, which one do you actually prefer? Have you made a decision?"
The leader looked genuinely at a loss, saying, "I've been torn between so many excellent options—I simply can't decide which one to choose. Then, why don't you pick one for me? I have full confidence in your integrity and taste."
