Chapter 721: Brother Wants to Eat Again

Back to Chapter List
?Reading on mobile phone Qin Feng extended his hand, the dagger, Fire-Perishing, glinting with a cold light, spinning smoothly in the palm of his hand. The new leader of Longkou Group was truly frightened. He had always prided himself on having earned his position through sheer physical strength and combat, so he had never been afraid of fighting. But now, he found himself lacking even the courage to stand up. He couldn't understand who the opponent was—his most capable subordinates, whom he considered his strongest fighters, had failed to last even a minute in the face of the opponent, all of them having their limbs broken. In fact, one of them had even lost his fifth limb. When he first saw Qin Feng holding the dagger, his legs began to tremble uncontrollably, and then a warm current surged from top to bottom, making his entire leg feel warm. Qin Feng's eyes were sharp—he immediately noticed the pale yellow liquid dripping from the other man's trouser legs—and remarked with a mocking tone, "Truly, no surprise that you're the new leader of Longkou Group. Even your bladder has been so bold in its leakage!" Realizing he wasn't up to par, the new leader quickly interjected, "Sir, that was just a misunderstanding. Since you're already familiar with our Longkou Group, why don't you give me a chance? Let's just pretend nothing ever happened!" Qin Feng coldly replied, "I gave you two chances already—I made it clear. It's your own reluctance to accept. So now, you're blaming others?" With that, he flicked his wrist, and the fire meteor shot off like a comet, aiming straight for the other man's wrist. Swish... swish... The fire meteor darted back and forth between Qin Feng's palm and the new leader several times, before the latter erupted in a series of guttural, pig-like screams. Both of his arms were severed at the roots, his legs gushed with blood, and his abdomen, chest, and chin were no exception—large chunks of "I said, as long as it's any part that's come into contact with Akechi, I'll cut it off." He said with a cold tone. The new head tilted and collapsed to the ground. Though the wounds looked terrible, they were all non-fatal and deliberately avoided vital blood vessels. Thus, he would surely survive. Yet, what good would that do? The severed limbs could not be reattached, as the cut sections were uniquely structured; the flesh removed could not regrow, and even while alive, he would be no different from someone who had already passed. Akechi had always been treated as though she were part of his body, unaware of what had transpired. When she carefully lifted her head and saw the man's gruesome condition, she gasped in shock. Qin, the young lord, released her hand and said to her, "Don't worry. It's my doing. The responsibility will therefore rest solely on me." "Qingzi immediately stopped shouting, looking at him for several seconds, then said, "No, Mr. Qin—I didn't mean it that way. You were injured to save me. That's why I'm asking you to leave right now. Otherwise, when the police arrive, things will be very unfavorable for you!" "Let me leave," he was surprised. "Yes, you're a Chinese, and you've injured the head of the Longkou team. Neither the Longkou team nor the Shan Kou team will rest easy. Even if you're taken into custody by the police, the police themselves will likely be pressured by the Shan Kou team and take retaliatory actions against you." Qingzi grasped his hand, her voice filled with urgency: "Therefore, you must leave China immediately. Right now, the most urgent thing is to get out of Kyoto. I met someone while filming—she can take you on her fishing boat to sea. All expenses will be covered by me. I'm calling her right now!" Qin Feng thought—were you talking about the snake-head? How could someone doing a legitimate business possibly arrange for someone to leave the country by fishing boat? He took Qingze's hand, just as she was about to pick up the phone, and noticed some bruising on her wrist—caused by the new head when he had held her earlier. "Qingze, what if I leave? What will you do then?" he asked with a smile. He gave a quiet smile. "Did you forget? I'm a magician, after all. Many things that others find impossible are mere cakewalks for me. Of course, you'll need to call an ambulance—these people staying here simply don't belong!" "But..." "No more buts. I'll handle them!" Several ambulances took the members of the Longou group away. Police who had arrived at the hotel set up a perimeter line at the entrance, but instead of entering to arrest people or gather evidence, they simply stayed outside. Clearly, the police had received word from the Longou group's branch, and possibly even a directive from a senior figure in the Yamaguchi group. As the sky grew darker, Qin Feng had already called the driver and instructed him not to come. The hotel staff gathered together, whispering softly among themselves, occasionally glancing up toward Qin Feng. Qin Feng and Qing Zi sat in the lounge, the clear tea before them long since cooled to room temperature. Qin, the young lord, simply didn't care for tea—he could judge its quality merely by sniffing it, and he found that even this so-called premium tea paled in comparison to the worst of China's iron-leaf oolongs. Having grown accustomed to fine teas, he was simply too lazy to even glance at it. As for Qing Zi, she was afraid and lacked confidence, so how could she possibly find the heart to enjoy her tea? Everyone in the store had been ordered to stay put, and over time, the atmosphere grew increasingly tense. Finally, Qing Zi couldn't hold back and asked, "Mr. Qin, what exactly are your plans?" Qin smiled gently. "If I'm not mistaken, the members of the Longkou team are gathering outside. Once they're all assembled, they'll come rushing in with supplies, smash everything here to rubble, and then beat up all of us to avenge their new leader!" "Ah." "Seiko widened her eyes—this was exactly what she was most worried about. Hearing it from Qin Feng's mouth only made her more afraid. "Don't worry," he said, patting the woman's shoulder gently. "Since I've thought of it and have been standing here patiently, isn't it clear that I've already raised the issue?" He added, "I wasn't fully satisfied with my meal earlier, and now I'm feeling hungry. Could Seiko please prepare something fresh for me? If I'm still hungry, how will I handle the people from the Longkou Group later on?"
