Chapter 015: Reflections Triggered by Five Yuan
"Brother-in-law, you... you know, if you don't mind, I'd better go now," said Lu Yun, her heart soaring with joy. On the surface, however, she remained shy and demure, head bowed low, cheeks flushed crimson.
"Alright then, off you go—just remember what I said. If you change your mind at all, watch out—I’ll peel your skin right off!"
Li Yun watched Lu Yun’s gaze filled with an endless warmth of intimacy. With a soft "Hmm," Lu Yun turned and hurried out, her speed and disheveled appearance so lively that even describing her as a mouse scrambling with its head tucked beneath seemed quite fitting.
Li Yun giggled, watching the figure of Lu Yun fade into the distance, like a cat playing with a mouse. She lightly rubbed the hands she had just held—those moments of quiet tension still lingering—and then settled back to give Zhang Yi, the hefty dog-like man, a gentle scratch behind the ears before heading back into the house.
"Wife, what’s taking so long? What are you two talking about?" As soon as Li Yun entered the room, Zhang Yi immediately flopped onto his bed, lifting up his shirt to reveal a broad, well-muscled back dotted with thick flesh.
"Just some small things—nothing more than apologizing on your behalf," said Li Yun, gently patting the bumps on Zhang Yi’s back with her slender hands.
"But you just saw that young fellow—his eyes were clearly saying something different," Zhang Yi sighed in contentment, yet he wasn’t blind to subtle cues. "I thought I sensed something off."
Li Yun slammed her palm down, leaving five red handprints on his back. She shouted, “Well, Zhang Yi—you’ve really grown up now! You dare to suspect me of being unfaithful? Think about it—how many years have we been together? How often have I ever strayed from my duties as a good wife? And here you are, this big, clumsy bear, still holding me accountable for something so trivial. If you don’t back down now, I’m moving out right after dawn and going straight to my mother-in-law’s house!"
Zhang Yi had merely asked casually—there was no actual proof—but his words had ignited a storm in Li Yun’s heart. Her sudden threat of returning home left him flustered. With his massive frame weighing over two hundred and fifty pounds, he leaped off the bed like a ball of elastic, wrapping his arms tightly around her, begging for forgiveness: "Wife, I only said it casually—please don’t get angry! Would you mind giving me just one more slap to vent your frustration?"
"Slap? Don’t you see how thick and soft your body is? Anytime you try to hit me, it’s actually *I* who gets the pain!" Li Yun protested. Yet even as she spoke, her small fists landed softly on Zhang Yi’s chest with firmness.
"Wife, just let it go—how about I treat you to something special?" Zhang Yi said, seizing the moment when Li Yun wasn’t paying attention and gently pressing her down onto the bed. "The passion from earlier hasn't quite cooled off—we might as well continue."
"Stop, you big bear! Get up!" Li Yun pushed against him, but soon her resistance melted into a soothing sigh, then deepened into sweet, melodic murmurs of pleasure.

Lu Yun dashed out of the dining hall, heart racing. Though only about two hundred meters from the classroom, she was thoroughly drenched in sweat and gasping for breath when she finally arrived. She had just enough time to catch her morning class before truly missing it—thankfully, or else Iron Old Lady’s iron palm would have dealt with her most severely.
"Lu Yun, you’re nearly late again! Here, wipe off your sweat," said a voice beside her as she reached for the history textbook in her drawer. Without lifting her head, he knew instantly that it was the class monitor and fellow seatmate, Liang Hongyu.
Class seating followed a male-female pairing pattern—Lu Yun, due to his height of one meter sixty-eight, had been placed at the very back on the left side of the classroom. While this height is remarkable for someone at age thirteen, Liang Hongyu stood even taller than Lu Yun—not just in her own class but among all students in the entire first year.
"Miss Monitor," said Lu Yun as he handed over a handkerchief, “I didn’t come to class yesterday. Did your teacher ask you where I went?”
"No, she hasn't. But be prepared—your habit of skipping classes may soon lead to a good scolding from her," Liang Hongyu replied gently.
"Alright," Lu Yun grinned. "Just let me know—I’ll manage it, or maybe you can just plead on my behalf with the teacher. She listens to you more than anyone."
"You're being ridiculous!" Liang Hongyu blushed, “You talk about the teacher listening to *me*, and now I’m going to drop you completely!"
Teachers generally appreciate students who are both academically strong and well-behaved—Li Yang perfectly embodied that combination. She had also earned first place in a county-level essay competition representing her school, defeating several top competitors.
Yet Liang Hongyu had one significant flaw: she blushed easily whenever teased. A little bit of humor from Lu Yun was enough to make her face turn as red as a Fuji apple.
Lu Yun’s grades were average—during study hours, he simply enjoyed making fun of the beautiful monitor around him. Every time he saw her flushed cheeks, his heart fluttered with excitement.
