Chapter 029: Unashamed
The intense encounter between the two lasted until the bell for the first morning class rang, signaling its end. After dressing and freshening up, Fei Xinxian smiled with contentment, resting her head against Lu Yun’s chest like a young woman in affectionate comfort. Gazing at the boy—her first in fifteen years who had made her feel so deeply happy—she softly said, “Lu Yun, are you tired?”
Lu Yun smiled gently and shook his head. “Not at all. If I hadn’t been pressed for time, I’d have wanted to spend another session with you.”
“Still calling me teacher!” Fei Xinxian scolded. “You know how nervous I am about being the White Tiger Star—how could you possibly change your mind now?”
Hmm… This question, Lu Yun truly didn’t know how to answer. While it was true that passion had surged between them, he still felt a certain hesitation in his heart regarding her status as the White Tiger Star. The strong sense of possession and urgency he'd felt at the moment probably stemmed more from pity than desire—she seemed so vulnerable.
Once the encounter concluded, if he said simply that it was out of compassion for her, it would surely wound Fei Xinxian’s heart. So instead, with a smooth, casual smile, he added, “It’s really just because you’re so wonderfully captivating—I couldn’t think straight at all, and before I knew it, I’d already ‘put you to the ground’—hah!” His hands now gently massaged her firm, proud breasts through her clothing, leaving him heart-throbbingly restless.
“So you were acting on impulse?” Fei Xinxian’s expression dimmed upon hearing this.
“How could that be? Don’t misunderstand me—what I meant was simply that you’re so full of grace and charm, that no matter what your status as the White Tiger Star is, as long as you feel happy, even if it means I have to go on and die, I’d be willing.” Lu Yun gently bit her earlobe, speaking with a dreamy tone.
Fei Xinxian’s expression shifted momentarily, then returned to normal. She murmured softly, “No—I won’t let you die. Neither will I allow you to. If someone must go, it should be me.”
Oh dear! After twisting the conversation through so many turns, how had it grown so heavy? The entire event hadn’t even reached the point of discussing life or death—just as if the heavens had sneezed and no rain had fallen.
“Relax,” Lu Yun reassured her. “We won’t die after all. My fate is like a stone in a latrine—smelly, solid, stubborn. Even if Heaven itself were to see me, it would simply have to go around me. As long as you don’t mind how smelly and unrefined I am, I’ll be your personal shield. As long as I’m here, no harm shall ever come to you.”
Though his words sounded a little immature, they carried genuine sincerity, causing an unexpected stir in Fei Xinxian’s otherwise mature heart. She held him tightly, saying, “I’ll accept you as my shield. Though our future may not be certain, just this moment of warmth and intimacy is enough to make me truly satisfied.”
One intense embrace, and years of time fade away!
At forty years old, Fei Xinxian felt like a young girl newly fallen in love—her heart completely won over by Lu Yun, fully immersed in the present joy.
Haha! A chaste woman or a devoted widow, once captivated by someone she truly loves, burns with passion as fiercely as fire—willing to give everything, even her very life. Unaware of this, Lu Yun had inadvertently turned Fei Xinxian’s icy composure into a blazing flame, adding an irreplaceable element to his journey toward leaving the countryside and entering city life.
“Teacher,” Lu Yun said with a chuckle, trying to find light-hearted topics that would make both of them feel at ease, “you were absolutely wild just now—I was nearly overwhelmed.”
Fei Xinxian flushed deeply, her hands constantly patting his chest. “You’re saying that? I thought I’d be dead from you by now—still feeling the after-effects. You just kept on acting so bluntly and aggressively, completely unaware of how much I needed to be treated gently!”
Lu Yun grinned. “But look at you—how comfortable you seem! On my part, I was just holding you like a laborer going in circles in your living room. How could I possibly expect you to understand me when you’re so harsh?”
“Hmph,” Fei Xinxian replied, her expression now utterly unexpected for someone of her maturity and age, giving Lu Yun a withering look. “I nearly lost all the strength to walk just then—cool air was seeping into my lower body, and I doubt I’ll recover within two days.”
Lu Yun pretended to be startled, widening his eyes seriously. “Really? Should we find a doctor to examine you?”
“Go on, don’t act so ignorant! You yourself are the one who caused this—how could you not know?”
Lu Yun scratched his head. Indeed, during their passionate encounter, he had been so focused on soothing Fei Xinxian’s emotionally worn heart that his movements had become overly forceful—like a true eccentric.
“I really don’t understand,” Lu Yun protested, then brightened with a smile. “Since it was I who caused this, why not let me take care of you personally?” With that, he gently pressed his hand against the area just below Fei Xinxian’s ribcage—where her younger sister sat.
Even though they had just shared such an intense encounter and were still clothed, Fei Xinxian was still breathless under Lu Yun’s attentive touch, glancing at him with half-closed eyes. “Please stop—it’ll be time soon for Zhou Quan to return.”
Lu Yun chuckled unashamedly. “He’ll just come back—he’ll see us like this and find it even more exciting!”
“You’re so terribly ambitious! How could you possibly let someone witness such a private moment? It would be deeply embarrassing.” Fei Xinxian frowned, her breathing growing stronger.
Lu Yun laughed softly. “Teacher, I have something to share with you—please don’t get upset.”
Fei Xinxian nodded slightly, though she didn’t quite hide her mild disapproval. “I’ve told you so many times already—don’t call me teacher anymore. Call me Xinlan or Lanji—any of those works fine. I just don’t like hearing that title repeated.”
“Then from now on, I’ll always refer to you as Lanji,” Lu Yun promised.
“Go ahead and tell me what it is.”
“You must promise not to get angry.”
“I’m certain—I won’t be upset at all. Just… try a little harder—yes, that one—gently massage it…” Lu Yun thought for a moment. “Lanji, actually, Zhou Quan has been eyeing you closely ever since we’ve known each other—he’s really been planning to have his younger brother take care of you.”
Surprisingly, instead of being upset by Lu Yun’s seemingly bold revelation, Fei Xinxian simply gave a short hum and said, “I’ve already noticed that. Every time I teach, he watches your chest and that area intently—sometimes even reaches out to touch himself while you’re lecturing. Does he think he can hide it from his classmate? I just never cared to confront him. I simply didn’t want to appear impatient.”
“Lu Yun,” Fei Xinxian added, “don’t imagine that because we’ve shared a physical connection, I’m now some kind of mistress who’s been with many men—aside from my first husband, you’re the second man to have ever held me in his arms. And you are still the last. So, Zhou Quan will need your help getting over these feelings—he’ll definitely need to be persuaded.”
Hmph… That was truly a matter of necessity—no one willingly shares a woman with anyone else, not even close friends.
