Humor in Biology Class

Chapter 032: Physiological Humor on the Biology Class This was a biology class. Lu Yun carried his textbook with a drooping head, looking utterly miserable. He quickly skimmed through last class’s content. Liang Hongyu exhaled quietly—she had almost forgotten to respond to Lu Yun's unreasonable request when the bell rang. With forty-some students sitting upright and serious, whether it was lively boys or elegant girls, everyone had opened their textbooks and were diligently reviewing what they'd learned earlier. Why? Because—of course—the biology teacher, Ms. Yang Chunmei, is such a pure and vibrant lady! The sharp, crisp sound of small leather heels tapping the floor signaled Lu Yun’s immediate recognition: it was Ms. Yang Yanping arriving. Indeed, as the clear tapping echoed through the classroom, Ms. Yang Yanping—Fuli Town Middle School's most stylish female teacher—entered the room. It was a blazing summer day; yet with her arrival, every boy in the class felt instantly refreshed and cooled down. Today, Ms. Yanping had dressed especially attractively: her shoulder-length hair flowing freely over her shoulders, wearing a simple white dress that hugged her full yet slender figure beautifully—accentuating the well-rounded busts at the front of her torso. Her red summer flats completed the look; the colorful nail polish on each toe gave the impression that one might just want to go up and gently press her down. Her eyes sparkled with endless charm, and even a glance from her could make you feel certain she was an absolute sensation in bed. Most importantly, Ms. Yanping hadn’t married—she wasn't lacking suitors, but simply held herself above the rest, barely glancing at most men; yet here she stood in Fuli Town—a quiet, unremarkable town—as a regular teacher. Even more interestingly, despite being pursued by many attractive young men, she remained cold and reserved, rarely showing interest. At school, however, she maintained close relationships with all the male teachers—and even had romantic entanglements with several of the senior high school boys. Lu Yun stared at her prominent, full breasts, his mouth dry as he silently swallowed. How could she have such a strong connection with junior high students, yet none with freshmen? Just as he was enjoying this view, Liang Hongyu gently nudged him and blushed, whispering, “Lu Yun, you can be quite pushy with me—just don’t try to get close to Ms. Yang, or else everyone will bury you alive.” Lu Yun blinked back into focus, smiling warmly at Liang Hongyu. Surprised by her subtle affection—he hadn't expected such a gentle response after just being touched—and now she acted like an older sister, always attending to him with genuine care. Silently, Lu Yun tore off a sheet from his notebook and quickly wrote a few words on it before handing it to Liang Hongyu. She took it with wide-eyed confusion; when she read the message, her face turned bright red. Only Liang Hongyu knew what exactly he had written—so deeply embarrassed did she become that she firmly pinched Lu Yun’s leg. Painfully, Lu Yun gritted his teeth but said nothing at all. “Classmates,” Ms. Yanping began, “today you will study independently. If anyone has questions, I’ll be happy to answer them.” What a rare occurrence! Usually so strict with her students, Ms. Yanping had now assigned independent learning? Lu Yun stood stunned—his ears filled with soft laughter from classmates. He glanced at Liang Hongyu beside him; the top student in academics had simply closed her textbook and sat quietly, blushing deeply while reciting English vocabulary under her breath. With questions still swirling in his mind, Lu Yun opened the textbook to find out what was going on—and then it all clicked into place. He couldn’t help but chuckle aloud. Why? Because today’s lesson dealt with the distinct differences between men and women—clearly explained with diagrams—and even for a beginner like Lu Yun, who had only recently started exploring romantic matters, it stirred something deep within him. A few minutes later, sensing that the class had grown restless, Ms. Yanping brightened her voice, gently saying: “Classmates, does anyone have questions?” One second, then two—then a minute passed. Still no one dared to speak up. What on earth? How could any of them possibly raise such an issue in front of everyone? Whether boys or girls, the topic felt too intimate and awkward. Yet, as soon as someone took the initiative, others quickly followed suit. After Ms. Yanping’s encouragement, a quiet boy named Ma Xiaoguang raised his hand with a hesitant expression: “Teacher, I have a question.” Ms. Yanping, having just grown bored, immediately perked up and smiled warmly. “Excellent! Ma Xiaoguang, please go ahead—your questions will be answered thoroughly.” Lu Yun looked toward the class’s well-known slow-witted boy standing stiffly in place—he was certain this moment would prove entertaining. “Teacher,” Ma Xiaoguang said, “when men and women are doing that, which side feels more comfortable—the man or the woman?” His words instantly drew a few chuckles from the boys—most of whom looked embarrassed while girls quietly muttered under their breaths about him being totally out of touch. “Why are you laughing?” Ms. Yanping raised her eyebrows firmly, and the room settled back into silence once again. “Ma Xiaoguang is thoughtful and insightful—quite a role model for all of you.” Her praise brought disapproval from many classmates, who only managed to keep silent. Then she continued: “Ma Xiaoguang, when you’re using your hand to scratch your nose, which feels more comfortable—the nose or the hand?” “Naturally,” Ma Xiaoguang replied, “the nose feels better.” “That’s exactly right,” Ms. Yanping said with a smile. “Now you should understand what I mean—applying this principle to your question.” Ma Xiaoguang nodded and sat back down. With one student stepping forward, others naturally followed. Just as Ma Xiaoguang settled into his seat, another boy stood up: “Teacher, that’s really impressive! When men and women are doing that, which feels more comfortable—wearing a condom or not?” Such an insightful question was truly remarkable—so many could have asked it, but few had the nerve. Lu Yun turned to watch the speaker—he shook his head with admiration. The student, known as Wang Dapao, one of the most straight-laced freshmen in the class, had certainly been missing something today; otherwise, the scene would’ve been even more vibrant. “Whenever your nose itches,” Ms. Yanping interjected promptly, “is it more comfortable to scratch with gloves or without?” “Without gloves,” Wang Dapao replied, smiling modestly—his answer made everyone else burst into laughter. Then came another question from a student: “Teacher, why can’t women do that when they’re having their period?” This one was even more surprising—it stunned both boys and girls alike, who all leaned forward to listen intently as Ms. Yanping answered. After thinking carefully, she responded: “When your nose starts bleeding—would you still use your hand to scratch it?” Oh… that response was simply flawless! The student sat down silently, his eyes unblinking. “Any further questions?” Ms. Yanping glanced around the classroom with a particularly graceful smile. “Yes…” A few more replies followed.
